"Cheshire's Last and Lasting Semiquincentennial Project....The Frumunda 

and the Chronos Time Capsules".

 

We are going to sponsor what most people know to be a Time Capsule.

Our SQC trio; Chairperson and Municipal Historian Diane Calabro, 

Cheshire's Holiday Director Ray Bennett and Municipal Historian Emeritus

Ron Gagliardi are planning the types, the inclusions and the storage places

around the town...including under residents' beds (hence Frumunda as the

title).

 

The culminating event will be the placement of the Town's "Chronos" within

a Town-owned building, the location of which will be kept in a secret 

repository, the location to be entrusted with the Patty King and her eventual

Town Clerk replacements through the years.

 

The Frumunda Time capsules will be contained in cardboard or metal boxes

in each home or business...perhaps under a bed. The committee has been gifted as many pizza boxes as needed by the owner of Cheshire Pizza, Jimmy Magriplis.

 

More specific directions will be shared in future editions of this magazine and other news outlets.
