The focus of Cheshire’s 250th Celebration is the signing of the Declaration of Independence itself. July 4, 2026 is more than a birthday party: it was an invitation to deepen our understanding of the foundation of our country rooted in a “firm reliance upon God” and the rights endowed by our Creator: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Cheshire’s annual “Declaration Celebration” has taken place every 4th of July on the green in Cheshire for 10+ years and moved to Bartlem Park in 2026 for broader festivities.
