Recently, I spent a few minutes filling out one of my favorite memory joggers...a vertical A to Z list.

After I fill the side of a lined piece of notebook paper, I choose a topic that I then attempt to fill all

twenty six lines with a word that starts with that letter. My latest A to Z list was a group of famous people I have known or encountered. 

 

Paul Petersen, of The Donna Reed  TV show came to mind.  This article, from a magazine I had created in1973 called Environs, was about Paul Petersen, child actor, Mouseketeer and Cheshire visitor. Paul and I became buddies in the early seventies and he came to our house for a visit.  He kissed my mother-in-law hello.  That really made her day!
