A new way to tell our Cheshire stories is on display in the lobby of the Cheshire Library through the month of July.  Town Historian Diane Calabro is creating a graphic history of Cheshire. "My goal is to create at least 250 graphic panels about our town, from the beginning of our history to the present." Calabro is also seeking people who might like to draw a comic panel that tells their Cheshire story or a Cheshire story that's important to them. "I would love to have people contribute to my book!" She recognizes that many people don't draw, so she will be happy to put your story into a comic panel format. "I need at least six photos that describe your subject or story. If you are an organization or a business, I would need your logo and your mission statement". Calabro says she will also need a short narrative describing your subject or story. All of this should be sent to her email address, dacalabro@cox.net. When asked why she is not writing a traditional history book, Calabro said, "Cheshire has many outstanding history books but we do not have a GRAPHIC history of Cheshire. It's about time we did!"
